Our programs

Five programs, one goal: belonging. Our community programs are free, and our workplace training is priced so it cross-funds them.

1. Workplace Diversity Training

Good intentions don't change workplaces — skills and systems do. Our evidence-based training helps employers build genuinely inclusive cultures: inclusive recruitment, unconscious bias, culturally confident communication and psychologically safe teams. Sessions are practical and scenario-based, built around the real situations your people face.

  • Half-day and full-day workshops tailored to your industry
  • Inclusive recruitment and bias-aware interview training
  • Leadership programs for building psychologically safe teams
  • Follow-up coaching so change sticks after the workshop
Free For The Community A diverse group of people laughing together during a community workshop

2. Community Inclusion Workshops

Our free public workshops give everyday people the tools to build inclusion where they live: understanding privilege, being an effective ally, intercultural communication, and responding safely when you witness discrimination. Sessions are designed with — and often led by — people from diverse backgrounds, and there's always good conversation over refreshments.

  • Free workshops in community venues and online
  • Practical allyship and bystander skills anyone can use
  • Facilitated by people with lived experience
  • Take-home resources to keep learning

3. Cultural Celebration Events

Prejudice fades fastest over shared food and shared stories. We organise cultural festivals, interfaith dialogues and neighbourhood celebration days that bring communities together — showcasing the music, food and traditions of the many cultures of Melbourne's north, and creating the friendships that make inclusion last.

  • Multicultural festivals and food events open to all
  • Interfaith and intercultural dialogue evenings
  • Co-hosted with councils, schools and cultural associations
  • Volunteer roles for community members
Safe & Confidential A circle of people joining hands in mutual support

4. Peer Support Groups

Experiencing exclusion is isolating — and healing happens in company. Our facilitated peer support groups connect people from diverse backgrounds, including recent migrants, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people and people with disability, in confidential spaces to share experiences, access guidance and rebuild confidence.

  • Regular facilitated groups in Thomastown and online
  • Confidential, culturally safe facilitation
  • Warm pathways to counselling, legal and employment services
  • Leadership opportunities for members who want to give back

5. School Education Programs

The earlier inclusion is learned, the deeper it lasts. Our school programs use age-appropriate activities, storytelling and honest discussion to help students appreciate difference, challenge bullying and build classrooms where every child belongs. Teachers get professional development and free resource kits aligned with curriculum goals.

  • Student workshops on respect, empathy and standing up to bullying
  • Teacher professional development for inclusive classrooms
  • Harmony Week and cultural celebration support
  • Free curriculum-aligned resource kits
